 So who is Ken Ivins? He has lived in Saratoga Springs since 1988 with his wife Kim and two children. He grew up in the Philadelphia area but also lived in Vermont for nine years before moving to Saratoga Springs.
Community involvement is something
Ken considers extremely important.
His volunteer work over the years
has included the Jaycees (Junior
Chamber of Commerce), Rotary, the
Scouts, United Way, soccer coach and
most recently he initiated an annual
volunteer effort to clean & protect
the Northwoods Trail at Skidmore
College.Ken's community service &
professional experience led him to
the Chamber of Commerce. There
he advanced to ultimately hold the
position of President of the
Southern Saratoga Chamber of
Commerce in Clifton Park before
starting his own business. For
the last ten years, Ken as sold
computers, taught computer classes
at the BOCES Adult Continuing
Education Program, and he has grown
his Saratoga based computer
consulting business.
Ivins Computer Consulting is a
company that assists a wide range of
businesses and individuals. Ken works with individuals helping them with computer issues or just tutoring them on computer use. Yes he makes house calls
 . He also helps businesses with a wide range of services, such as networking, installation, Access database design, training, maintenance, upgrades and more.
Over the years, Ken has shown that
he is down to earth and a hard
worker with a great sense of humor
who loves helping people. That's a
big part of why Ken ran for office
in the first place. Now he
wants to continue his efforts to
keep Saratoga Springs the best place
to live, work, raise a family, and
retire.
Ken's recreational interests
include: playing and watching
sports, bicycling, tennis,
photography, genealogy, and reading
